Welcome to Palit Tayo ("Palit Tayo", "we", "platform"). By accessing palittayo.com or our mobile applications, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Nature of the Service

Palit Tayo is a digital community venue designed to facilitate direct peer-to-peer bartering, item exchanges, and free giveaways of pre-loved baby, children, and maternity products among caregivers in the Philippines.

Palit Tayo is not a retailer, manufacturer, or broker. We do not hold physical inventory, conduct physical laboratory safety tests, or warrant the fitness or merchantability of any traded item.

2. User Commitments & Safe Product Standards

By listing an item on Palit Tayo, you warrant and agree that:

You are the lawful owner of the item and have the full right to trade or give it away.
All baby clothing, blankets, and textiles have been properly cleaned and sanitized.
You have verified that the product has not been subjected to official safety recalls or hazardous structural flaws.
You will strictly abide by our Prohibited Items List (e.g., no drop-side cribs, expired formula, or expired car seats).

3. Trade Lifecycle & Two-Sided Confirmation

Acceptance of a trade offer constitutes a temporary reservation, locking both items from other trades. The trade is marked completed only when both participants confirm completion in person following handoff and visual inspection.

4. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Caregivers must inspect all pre-loved baby products in person before confirming a handoff. To the maximum extent permitted under Philippine law, Palit Tayo and its operators disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from physical handoffs or item usage.

5. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
